Training for New TNSHIP Volunteers (Level 2 & 3)

Free training is provided for those interested in volunteering with the TNSHIP* program. You will learn how to provide counseling to Medicare beneficiaries and their families, and be able to help them feel confident about their health insurance decisions.This is a two-day workshop for TNSHIP Level 2/3 Volunteers. You may choose to attend the 1st day for Level 2 certification, and/or the 2nd day for Level 3 certification.

Volunteer Levels:
LEVEL 1: Administrative Volunteers:
May assist with events, updating marketing materials, social media, data-entry. No interaction with clients is necessary.
LEVEL 2: Community Outreach Advocates:
May assist with events, public health fairs. Some interaction with clients may be necessary.
LEVEL 3: One-on-one Counselors:
May interact with clients directly through, phone, email, and/or in person
