Volunteers play a vital role in many of the programs and services available through the Area Agency on Aging and Disability. Below are a few of the volunteer opportunities available:
The Guardian program works with a number of community agencies including mental health organization in order to meet the needs of the consumer being referred to the program. Recruiting volunteers is an important component of the program because they assist in making visits to the consumer in order to monitor conditions and environment and report findings back to the Guardian. For persons interested in volunteering for the Guardianship program contact Kim Hale at 615-862-8837 or via email at firstname.lastname@example.org.
