Small Business Assistance

MADC Logo The Greater Nashville Regional Council staffs and administers services for the Mid-Cumberland Area Development Corporation (MADC).  MADC was established by the GNRC in 1983 as a non-profit corporation to serve the capital needs of small businesses in Middle Tennessee. MADC partners with lenders to provide low interest, long-term business loans.

The primary mission of MADC is to increase private investment and economic growth which, in turn, creates new jobs in the community. MADC has generated:

  • $108 Million in Small Business Loans
  • $194 Million in Private Lending
  • 5,000+ in Small Business Jobs

MADC offers various small business loan programs. For several years, Mid-Cumberland Area Development Corporation has been the leading lender of the 504 program in the State of Tennessee. The mission of MADC and GNRC is to promote economic development in the region.
